Who is responsible for this site?
BlogBonsai is managed by Andrea Melloni, the data controller for messages sent through this website. For privacy questions or to exercise a data protection right, use the contact form and choose “Privacy request” as the subject. The form asks for an email address so a reply can be sent.
What the contact form collects and why
The form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. These details are used to receive, understand and reply to your enquiry, and to handle any reasonable follow-up. Please do not include sensitive personal information. Providing the fields marked as required is necessary to send a message; if you leave them blank, the form cannot be submitted.
Where your enquiry concerns a possible service or agreement, the information may be used to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement. For other messages, it is used to respond to the enquiry and manage the correspondence.
Form delivery and recipients
The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit. When you press “Send message,” the form data is transmitted to that service and forwarded to the receiving email inbox specified for BlogBonsai. FormSubmit’s documentation says submissions are retained in its archive for 30 days. The resulting email may remain in the receiving mailbox for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up. FormSubmit may apply anti-spam or security measures; its documentation and privacy terms explain its own practices.
FormSubmit is an external service. Its published privacy terms are maintained by the provider and may change. Please review them before sending personal information. The website does not ask for attachments, payment details or special-category data through this form.
Retention
FormSubmit states that form submissions remain in its archive for 30 days. Messages forwarded to the receiving inbox are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry and handle follow-up, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Your data protection rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask for processing to be restricted, or object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To make a request, use the contact form and identify it as a privacy request.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not currently run analytics or advertising cookies. The cookie information banner stores a small preference in your browser’s local storage so it can remember that you dismissed the notice. This is not used to track you across websites. The contact form is not embedded from FormSubmit; the external service is contacted only when you submit it. FormSubmit may use its own security or anti-spam technologies on its service, which are governed by its own privacy terms.
You can clear local storage through your browser settings. If the site later adds analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before those tools are activated.
Technical hosting data
Like other websites, the hosting infrastructure may process basic technical information such as the requested page, time of access, browser or device details and network address to deliver and protect the site. Such data is not used here for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated if the form provider, website features or data practices change. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
